Hamiota Council Notes Weed Controls and Financial Plays
At the July 13 meeting Reeve Lints chaired with five councillors present. Inspections found weed problems under control. hedge work at the cemetery and nuisance grounds closure noted. By law readings passed. joint funding for a clerk course approved. June accounts totalled 73 977.65 and staff received July 22 half day leave for the fair. Financial signing authority granted to reeve and secretary treasurer with credit union dealings approved. A ninth special meeting Aug 9 addressed U M M survey and weed issues.
