Hamiota All Stars advance to the provincial semi finals after defeating Souris Cubs 3-1 in the first game at Souris and winning the best of three series against Neepawa 4-2 in the decisive fourth game. Glennis Scott pitched nine innings for Hamiota and Jerry Smith held Neepawa to a two hitter in a 6-0 win. Six Mid Western League players join the Northern All Stars set to face Winnipeg Gold Eyes in Brandon on September 3.
