Stabbing at Kenworth Dam Leads to Two Arrests

At 5 15 p m on Wednesday Aug 17 Virden RCMP received a stabbing complaint after a fight at a drinking party at Kenworth Dam south of Kenton. Two victims were taken for treatment with one to Brandon General Hospital and a second refusing care. Two suspects were arrested in Brandon that evening and appeared in provincial court the next day facing aggravated assault charges.

Cowling lauds CMA vote against two tier Medicare
