Couple Honored At Home For Wedding Blessings
About 40 neighbors gathered at Mr and Mrs Ross Robertson's home on August 20 1975 to honor Mr and Mrs Jack Beamish on their marriage. Mrs Nelson Kreager read a humorous poem and expressed good wishes. Maurice Francis and Bruce Frazer gave a garbage can and clothes hamper. Jack thanked guests for gifts and good wishes. They sang For They Are Jolly Good Fellows and Happy Birthday to Mr Clare Hodgson. A mini birthday cake was handed to him. The evening ended with whist and a light lunch.
