Pleasant visits and arrivals noted at Parkissimo Lodge
Parkissimo Millie Attwood enjoyed a pleasant surprise as two motorcycles stopped at her door on Monday evening. Terry Bensons, long employed in Miniota in 1967, dined at the Attwood home, sharing meals and renewing acquaintance with his wife. Visitors last week included Aunt Jean Cook with Bruce and Sonia Beattie, Gladys Clegg, and Eddie and Betty Gilchrist. Edna Brown hosted her nephew Douglas Heath and Connie Heath from Sarnia Ontario. Ruth Leland returned home after visits with Lois and Bill Couling and Joan and Aubrey Neal. Congratulations to great grandmother Mildred Attwood on the birth of her great granddaughter Sarah Ashley to Bill and Sheryl Harlin in San Antonio, Texas. Barbara Littlejohn moved into the Lodge, occupying the former Katie Sparks suite. Kathy Spalding of Whitehorse visited her mother Dorothy Forsyth at Clear Lake. On August 8 Kerri Jo Spalding married Kevin Nickel in Ashern. Kerri Jo is Dorothy’s granddaughter. Get well wishes to Barbara Littlejohn, then a patient at Hamiota Hospital. Rae Armitage is Parkissimo Lodge correspondent, reachable at 567-3563.
