Manitoba Hydro reports net revenue turn around for quarter
The June 30 1989 report shows net revenue of 2.2 million versus net expense of 11.8 million a year earlier. Total revenues reached 151.1 million up 6.4 percent with domestic sales up 2.0 percent to 2.9 billion kWh and export sales up 61.9 percent to 0.7 billion kWh. Hydraulic generation rose 16.1 percent to 4.2 billion kWh.

Municipal Board Raises Fees For First Time Since 1979
The Municipal Board will raise fees for hearings and filings. Public subsidies will keep costs low but charges rise to about six percent of hearing expenses. First day of hearings remains free for individuals or municipalities, later sittings $200. Filing fees include $50 bylaw approvals, $75 to vary a caveat, and debenture fees of $1 per $1,000 with a $50 minimum.
