Boyd family marks a century of farming on family farm
About 300 people gathered July 30 at the Jack and Margaret Boyd farm to celebrate 100 years of family farming tracing back to Edmund McConnell and Hannah Jane Baldrow who settled near Hamiota in 1882. The event featured a Manitoba Century Farm Award, plaques, a tea, photos, and memories from McConnell descendants.
