Headingley jail opens new recreational field for inmates
A four acre sodded plot fully fenced at Headingley jail hosts two fastball diamonds a volleyball court horseshoe pits and a touch rugby field as part of a government plan to reduce tensions. A $103 000 minimum security building without bars and new kitchen facilities will house trusted inmates and ease congestion.
