A $700 000 Digital Subtraction Angiography system at St. Boniface General Hospital speeds tests for blood vessel abnormalities and lowers radiation exposure. The computerized unit yields vessels outlines from a single exposure and can use a vein for dye injection, reducing patient stress. The Winnipeg device is the first of three in the city with two more to come at other hospitals.
