Municipal council met with most members present led by the Reeve. Actions include instructing the SecTreas to request railway grade work and crossings, communications with the Canadian Northern Railway telegraph department, and directing road work while sloughs dry. Finance committee reported actions.
The list shows indemnity and mileage payments to W J Cochran Johan Strae John G Stewart and others totaling several dollars. Ward expenditures are itemized with amounts for Wards 2 4 5 and overall. The finance committee is instructed to issue cheques to the same. The council adjourns to meet again at the reeve's call.

The Village council met in council Chamber last Monday evening with Mayor Whimster presiding and councillors Stewart Stone Malcolm and Bennett present. A transfer siding between CPR and GTP was briefly considered with no commitment. Accounts were read and approved, including payments to Scott, Reeder, Boyce, Esslemont, Wright, Easton, Johnson & Son, Municipal L. H. & Power Co, and Andrew vital statistics. The clerk was instructed to buy 200 feet of corrugated iron tile for drainage and the meeting adjourned.
