United Church Welcomes New Minister to Birtle
The United Church Pastoral Charge in Birtle welcomes Rev. Scott Swanson and his wife Tanya as they assume the ministry for the area. Swanson trained at Vancouver School of Theology 1994 1998 and holds an MA in Canadian 19th Century Literature from the University of Victoria. He aims to facilitate community needs while Tanya seeks teaching work. The couple reside at the United Church Manse near Lundy and 11th Street and plan a brief vacation July 20 to August 4 with services continuing on current schedules.
