Sport Special Project gets $100000 Grant in Manitoba
Forty seven sport associations will receive Sport Special Project assistance in a 50 50 cost shared program funded by the Department of Fitness Recreation and Sport. The grant covers up to 50 percent of one program per year per association with government funds matched by the groups. Lottery funds back the amateur sports program.

Lions Club Raises Funds at Fair Day Dunk Tank
The Lions Club reports about 300 from raffle and dunk tank profits at Fair Day. Marge Decker won the backyard swing set.
