After 30 years Hamiota Kenton Transfer sells to Gardewine North of Winnipeg. Owners Mervyn and Clayton Thompson retire with last day on August 4. Gardewine will take over and keep Brandon and Winnipeg routes, with Gary Slimmon joining the team. Jim Lawrence Brandon Terminal Manager welcomed the arrangement.
