Grace United Church in Winnipeg hosted a late 1945 wedding uniting Leona Beatrice Dutkiewicz of St. Martin Manitoba and Glen Wallace Stewart of Lavinia Manitoba. Rev W G Martin officiated. Attendants included Helen Richmond. Reception followed at St Boniface home. The couple will reside in Winnipeg.
Four carloads of blood donors went to Brandon clinic on Tuesday. Mrs. Mac Hillman of Brandon visits her parents Mr. and Mrs. A L. The W M S and Ladies Aid hosted Mrs. F W Decker as Mrs. E Dixon reported on the Winnipeg conference branch. Plans were made for the Presbyterial on May 16 at Decker. A Junior Red Cross dance was held Friday night.
Freda Mary Norris of Scunthorpe England wed Benjamin Owen Whitfield rector of Christ Church Hamiota Manitoba at the Pro Cathedral Brandon on April 18 1945. The Bishop of Brandon officiated with Archdeacon Heywood assisting. They will reside in Hamiota Manitoba.
Mrs Fraser Anderson slipped at her home and broke her hip. She is now a patient in Hamiota and is reported doing nicely.
