Shackleford Returns Home After Five Years Abroad
Rupert Shackleford, who enlisted in September 1939, arrives in Lavinia on Saturday April 14 1945 after more than five years overseas. Mrs R G Shackleford traveled to Winnipeg Saturday morning to meet her son and bring him home that evening. In town for a few days are Mr J W Stewart and Mrs Lloyd McConnell.
