Cardale District residents share Easter travel notes with Brandon connections and a Winnipeg visit. George Crighton served as curator at the Air Museum in Brandon. later the group enjoyed a meal at Shenanigan's in Oak River. Larry Shaw and Mrs. Shaw traveled to Winnipeg April 10 for the Manitoba Hog Producers Awards and met relatives there.

Cardale W I met April 18 1990 in the church basement with seven members and two visitors. Janice Shaw gave Thought for the Day about optimism. After minutes were read and adopted the group discussed books tea and bake sale plans and two provincial convention tickets. Audrey Gill spoke on multiple sclerosis describing incidence in Westman region and a local young MS patient shared her story. The gathering ended with a lunch by Jean Stewart.

The Oak River Legion Ladies Auxiliary met on April 12 with Effie Henry presiding. Minutes from the last meeting were read and Winnie McCallum presented the financial report. A donation to the Ability Fund was made and District meeting minutes were received. Sick and Welfare reported three get wells and two sympathy cards sent. Myrle Strachan received a 20 year pin. Winnie McCallum reported on the Hospital Auxiliary before adjournment.
