Avoid heat damage to wheat when drying
Farmers warned to test wheat for heat damage after using heated air dryers. Canadian Grain Commission finds many samples harmed by high temperatures, with Manitoba submissions few. Tests require two samples, one before and one after drying, to assess damage and guide fixes. Local engineers will adjust dryers at no cost to ensure safe temperatures.
