Hamiota council approves 1986 budget and tax actions
The Rural Municipality of Hamiota held a regular meeting on April 9 1986 with Reeve Knight and councillors in attendance. Items included adopting prior minutes, renewing a $5 million liability policy at 1960 annual premium, approving By-law 4/86 granting use of a well Angus, accepting fuel tender from Hamiota Co op as lowest bid, approving By-law 5/86 the 1986 budget, authorizing a taxi livery service application for Thomas Fearnley, closing the office for the secretary treasurer convention, purchasing six fire department uniforms with cost shared with the Village of Hamiota, approving a motor grader purchase from Champion, and approving the February 1986 financial statement and March cheques totaling $125,866.78. The meeting adjourned at 3 40 p m with plans to reconvene May 14 1986.
