Waterfowl Outlook 69 Indicates Strong Runoff Across Prairies
The 1969 waterfowl outlook reports thawing ice and snow across the prairie provinces. Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba expect good water conditions with DU projects near full capacity and runoff beginning in central Alberta. Ducks are returning 2 to 3 weeks later with improved habitat versus 1968, though some southwest Saskatchewan areas remain less favorable.

Community bids farewell to Colin Stewart in Hamiota
