Digital embroidery an age-defying Weyburn venture
Donna and Abe Wolvers, in their early 50s, launched DIGI-DAW in Weyburn to digitize embroidery designs for clients worldwide. They invested nearly 70000 in computers and machines, train abroad, and now serve firms from Michigan to France with time-based rates. Their work, including a $350 schooner design, shows rapid growth and daily dedication.

Hamiota Huskies hockey season ends with losses and gains
The Hamiota High School Huskies finished a successful season under an agreement allowing AP bantam players so long as schedules do not clash with bantam provincials. MAHA bantam provincials conflicted, impacting performance. Seventeen and under size limits push Grade 12 players to senior teams, while Manitoba hosts 63 high school teams province wide. Several graduates leave, but others move up to fill gaps for next year.
