Reciprocal Hospital Billing Expanded in Manitoba
Health Minister Larry Desjardins announced that from April 1 out patient services will join Manitoba's reciprocal billing agreements with other provinces. Manitoba patients can receive treatment in Ontario on the same basis as Ontario residents with MHSC reimbursing the Ontario plan, and no extra charges like co insurance or admission fees will apply. The move aims to ensure portable health care benefits for Manitobans and Canadians alike.

Hearing Aid Act Amendments Broaden Licence Criteria
The act updates licensing rules for hearing aid dealers effective March 9. Grants totaling 125000 will fund full time recreation directors in 13 districts.
