Public tender calls seek bids for concrete wall laying near North Hanson sanitary depot with deposits and deadlines set. Notices warn of hospital hospitality appeals and road closures while Mount Rouse shire warns prosecutors against drivers abandoning or burying wrecks on local roads.
Shire of Mount Fou e issues a labor form urging men to present themselves at once. Forms available at the Shire Office Penshurst and must be returned to headquarters. The notice seeks to assist soldiers who fought for the Empire. December 1, 1915.
Notice declares a ten pound reward for information leading to conviction of anyone tearing glare bottles or broken pottery on Omany Street in Mount Roure Shire. Also warns offenders will be prosecuted and lists street safety actions and penalties. D Walls, Shire Secretary Penshurst 1914.
Notice from the Board of Public Health Victoria establishes rules to prevent contamination of bread and meat. Prohibits handling contaminated goods and using secondhand paper for wrapping. penalties up to ten pounds. Also announces enforcement of wandering stock by by-laws Nos. 15 and 16 with notification to herd owners and stock drovers.
Under the Health Act the Mount Rouse council declares Spring Creek from Ponsturst Spring to Abire Boundary unfit for domestic use. Any person using or supplying water for human consumption or supplying to be tied may face a daily fine up to five pounds.
The Kowree Shire Council announces depots for distributing phosphorated wheat. Locations include Tel-mratuk East at J. F. Bchults’s residence Apaley Mecare Hoare and Co’s Store Minimay A J Carracher’s Store Guroke M P Beery’s Hotel Harrow John Foley’s Hotel Edenhope Shire Hall. Supplies available at cost price for cash.
The above agreement states that Kowrea will pay loans of 2/6 for all Fou Saina with scalp and brush attached if the fonea are filled within the shore and the skis delivered in good condition with necessary declarations. Skins must arrive in good order or be refused.
The Governor in Council claims application of part X ZIT of the Local Government Act 908 to duties and effects in the Bhire of Mount Jous. The notice is signed by BD Walls, Bhirs Secretary.
Shira of Kowrea is notified that Twoapec tore enforces the Kowrea Shire collar registration act. Owners of registered dogs receive free collars with names. Dogs found without collars may be taught and dealt with under local acts. The Thistle Act governs destruction of thistles and weed control.
