John M Whistler of Farragut born in Hagerstown Indiana sixty seven years ago died suddenly. He married Mariah Ginther December 23 1869 and lived on a farm near Farragut before moving to town. He leaves five children Chas E Frank Henry Allen William E Dora B Livingston. William resides in Shenandoah. He joined the Christian church over twenty years ago, funeral conducted by Rev E Lowe and Rev W S Lowe. The notice notes a large attendance and sympathy for his wife and children.
