Auto Crash on K T Trail Wreck In Otoe County
In Otoe county on the K T trail between Auburn and Nebraska City a serious wreck occurred when Robert Pierce of Peru, driving a Maxwell, hit a parked Ford. Mrs J T Muller of Butte Montana was injured with a broken nose and three broken ribs. The mother left money and valuables, taken during the theft after the crash. The nine wrecks reported that day were in Otoe and neighboring counties.

On Saturday at 5 30 PM near the Red Oak bridge on the Federal Road a collision occurred between a Rushton car driven by Joe Rushton and a Bridges car driven by Mrs George E B Bridges. Both drivers and passengers suffered none seriously injured though the vehicles were damaged.

A youth named Willie Wiley fought a car fire at a rural farm home near town. He burned his hand badly while dousing flames with a cloth, then threw the cloth away as flames spread. The injury will keep him from work for some time and the incident alarms neighbors about fire safety.
