Farragut schools close Friday December 3 for a short holiday break and will resume classes Thursday January 1939. Faculty and families travel to Bedford Missouri Grant City Missouri and Armour South Dakota for vacation visits. Several local residents announce births and journeys, including Mr and Mrs Albert Watson of Agel announcing a son born December 35, and community members visiting relatives in Nebraska Iowa and Missouri.

Read, Miss Juanita Palm, and many others from Pleasant communities, with notes of visits to Hamburg, Shenandoah, and Council Bluffs.
Councilmen and officers heard bids Friday night for a new Wat of Yan garage fire track. The Mee by some oil and a coon the fire Monday ought. Bids were opened and the council planned to act Monday after checks on Web were announced.
