Future of W.V.S Appeal for Continuance
W.V.S. headquarters plans to delay dissolving the organization until after the 1946 annual meeting. They urge continued operations for six to nine months to support the ACF, UNRRA clothing drives for Europe and the Pacific, the Merchant Navy War Memorial appeal, and wartime relief efforts. Centers could aid hospitals, youth groups, and veteran reintegration, with funds remitted to headquarters if centers close.
