New England Potato Advisory Committee Sets First Quota Plan
The New England Regional Potato Advisory Committee met to draft a temporary quota system for No 1 grade potatoes. They requested immediate delivery of 5000 tons for three months and issued a grower questionnaire to assign per acre quotas for April deliveries while awaiting Deputy Potato Controller G M Cash’s reply.
