Third Victory Loan Committee Plans Guyra District Campaign
The Third Victory Loan Committee held a meeting at Guyra to reconstitute the committee and discuss new ideas for the campaign. Dr W Yount said the community must fund the war effort with a £100000000 target after a £150000000 prior effort, with local quotas and pennants to mark achievements. The Shell Company and Mr Hanna will sponsor a war film screening to boost rally attendance, with advertising costs covered by the local committee.
