Nensational Darlinghur shooting shocks city at Crown and Liverpool

Sydney reports a dramatic early morning shooting at the Crown and Liverpool intersection. Jobo Haji fired from a presager, then fled in a nnter car after hitting Magee in the lung. Magee, hospitalized in critical condition, faces possible death. Three hours later Thomas Kelly, aged unknown, was arrested and charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm. At the Central Police Court, Kelly appeared with Franks in relation to the alleged attack. Police Sergeant Nepper described a dangerous series of events and a penetrating wound observed on Hayes.

Moore Family Mourns Longtime Guyra Resident

Mrs. Moore aged 72 died after a lengthy illness. Born at Walcha she lived most of her life in the district and was cherished as a wife mother and devout Christian. Funeral at St James Church conducted by Rev Cecil McKie with a large gathering. several relatives served as pallbearers.
