Seminary Officers Host Social and PhD News
The Seminary opens with a social on September 20 at 7:30 PM in Gamleca Park if weather allows, else at a church. Tickets cost 5 cents, attendees bring a meat dish and something fun to share. a movie titled The Third Man on the Mountain will be shown. Seminary officers urge early attendance. Sanpete County Extension agent C Dennis Funk earned a PhD in extension administration from Wisconsin Madison, with a study on open mindedness and dogmatism among agents and supervisor effects on job satisfaction. He will serve half time as extension marketing specialist at US and half time developing extension planning and reporting activities, previously in Salt Lake and Sanpete counties. He and his wife Reboves have seven children and are moving to Bratfield. He also held a bishopric post in Madison and Logos.

He participated in the Navy College Aptitude Test last December and entered the highly selective MROTC program.
