Gunnison Ward Bishop Making Slow Recovery
Mrs. Leslie Kidman returned to Gunnison after visiting Salt Lake with her husband Bishop Leslie Kidman who remains hospitalized from extensive burns suffered June 14 while spraying weeds. Doctors estimate a two month discharge with burns totaling 42 percent of the body 60 percent third degree and the right leg most affected. Mrs Kidman’s mother Mrs J C Clyde of Mt Pleasant underwent an operation and is reported to be recovering well.

Pioneer Mary Bartholomew Dies in Ogden at 73
Mrs. Mary Caroline Bartholomew 73 widow of Joseph Bartholomew longtime Utah pioneer dies at her daughter Mrs Ray Frank Ogden home after nearly a year illness. She was born Salt Lake City August 30 1853 and survived by four sons and daughters seven stepchildren 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She had been active in L D S church work before health declined.
