The beet growers of the valley and Sevier valley are harvesting beets with factory deliveries starting this month. Sevier valley carloads reached the factory Tuesday and beet silting began Wednesday. Services Held For Luella Percival
Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Luella Percival wife of Roscoe Percival in Gunnison last Sunday. She died September 10 at Dee hospital after childbirth related operation. Born February 19 1902 in Gunnison she spent most of her life there. Survived by husband five children Marcella Morgan Lestie and two infants at hospital plus brothers Leo Alvin and sister Mrs Elvend Pjeldsted. Interment followed at Gunnison cemetery with local church members and a special quartet providing music.
