Fires From Boys With Matches Destroy Sheds And Hay
Two young boys aged 5 and 6 started a fire at the Pickett home using matches. Several sheds and much hay and straw were destroyed, with losses around 200 dollars. A strong wind and quick neighbor response limited damage, saving three large alfalfa hay stacks. Firefighters and locals contained the blaze before it spread further.

Annual Social Huge Success at Gunnison hotel
The Home Foi club hosted its seventh annual party last Friday at the Gunnison hotel with a banquet led by men as guests. King turkey was the centerpiece and toasts followed.
