The Cenlettield Primary children held a farewell party as a Progressive dinner. They started with a first course at the home of Melym Birele, moved to the Hoa Peterem residence, then to Mrs Howald Christine’s, and ended with a movie at the Sar Theatre followed by a visit to Alex denaen’s home. Venetia Peterson, Orthella Christensen, and Stella Christensen received gifts. Present were the Presidincy Elva Jimnaen, Winatia Barbara Salmon, Glenita Goatrs, Lucille Petenon, Carma Hansen, Melva Beck, Neve Arnoldsen, Arvilla Lund, Arlene Christensen, Cercline Sandstrom and Blanch Christensen.
Norma Lillian Larsen and Elvin Mellor exchanged marriage vows at the bride’s parents home May 20 with President Hime Sorenson of the Gunnison Stake presiding. Families attended as refreshments followed at the Larsen home. The bride studied at Gunnison Valley High School and is active in the social set. the groom is engaged in farm work. They will reside in Fayette.

The group will be named Girls Sewing Club and meet on Monday. The project for the term includes making a patch a clothes closet article a cape and a dress.
A 4 H gathering Thursday afternoon honored Norm Larsen Mellor from Bat Urtey with a small party. Attendees included several high school girls who enjoyed an afternoon of visiting. A light luncheon was served in the early evening with a brief social after.
W L McIntyre and H C Mefihane addressed Legion members on the Hill of Fights in Salt Lake City, discussing soldiers’ rehabilitation efforts and state affairs.
J C E Jensen dies at the family home in Connerfield after long illness. He was born in Dens mark and moved to the United States at age 11, living in Bear River before settling in Certertiald. A carpenter by trade, he was an active member of the LD oh church and contributed to local bond drives amid wartime campaigns.
