Utoco Station Names New Manager Joe Chappell
Joe Chappell, formerly with Utsh Ol Refining in Salt Lake City and a Wayne County native, became manager of the Utoco service station replacing Teed Tucker. The change took effect May 14. Borenson To Receive Degree From Brigham Young University
Mrs. Lorille M. Borenson will receive her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Provo on May 31. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Modeen of Gunnison and is a mother of three. Her husband, Mr. Borenson, had only one peer to complete at the college when she registered last year.

Leukemia Claims Steven Wagner
Steven Wagner son of Erhard M and Mari Langheinrich Wagner died May 25 at a Salt Lake City hospital from leukemia. He was born September 3 1854 in Gunnin and lived here before moving with his parents to Get Lebe. Survivors include his parents two brothers Kisus and Chris, and Gerhild and Joan among relatives. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Salt Lake City with burial at the city cemetery.
