Ranger Jorgensen visited Ferron reservoir and Willow lake on May 20 to report both bodies of water are full with runoff spilling over the lakes. Little fish loss occurred last winter and fish planting is advised within ten days at Horse creek and Fish creek. A snow event damaged Ferron reservoir camp ground but damage will be known after snow melts.
Memorial day in Gunnison will be observed in a quiet way with no set program. All business houses and the bank will be closed for the day, and post office hours will follow Sunday or holiday customs.
Stanley Peterson, 16, son of Mr and Mrs Ben Peterson, is confined at home after a porcelain faucet broke. While turning the faucet, his left hand struck a sharp edge, severing the large tendon of the thumb. Medical aid was given but tendon ends could not be joined. He nurses a sore hand.
Mrs. Ira Overfelt and Eugene Overfelt of this city, and Miss Lois Overfelt, head nurse at the Salina hospital, spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Salt Lake.

Maxine Sanders daughter of Hart J. and Mrs. Sanders of Centerfield completed her Wasatch academy course with the commencement exercises held last weekend and earned high marks for the school year 1935 34. The Wasatch academy World notes she received a gold medal as best citizen, awarded at a chapel by faculty vote and funded by New Century Printing. She held two trusted roles, president of Girl Reserves and home president of Finks Hall.
