Ground Broken for Amusement Hall in Southern Utah
Ground was broken Monday for a new amusement and dance hall to be built north of the Peterson Automobile company. The 100 by 565 foot wooden structure will feature a 65 by 80 foot main dance room, a modern concrete basement under the stage, rest rooms, check and dressing rooms, water and electric lighting, with completion aimed for mid June and an estimated cost around 4500 dollars.

Charles C Larson Dies at Ogden After Illness
Charles C. Larson a longtime Gunnison Valley merchant and buyer died at 4 am Wednesday at his son Erment Larson’s Ogden home after over a year of illness. Born December 15, 1857 in Denmark, he settled in the valley and ran Centerfield’s store and wholesale poultry business. Survived by four daughters and two sons, services pending. Wide Awake bridge club guests praised Mrs. Harold Bradley and Mrs. Hugh Halverson with prizes awarded and light refreshments served.
