Impressive funeral services honored A. P. Modeen who died at his Gunnison home last Sunday at 1 o’clock. He was 79, born in Sweden and long a thrifty farmer and businessman. Survived by wife Stena, four sons Andrew Carl Axell and Albert, and daughter Mrs C H Hart. Relatives attended. services led by C B H Ferre with tributes from Fred Swalberg and John Larson. Interment followed at Gunnison cemetery.
