Heart Ailment Takes Life Of Gunnison Native Alina Michiel Fredrickson
Alina Michiel Fredrickson, a Gunnison native, died May 11 at East Lake City hospital from a heart ailment. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Cottonwood North Ward LDS Chapel. Born January 7, 1890 in Gunnison, she was the daughter of Hyrdit and Humain Jensen Fredrickson. She attended local schools, taught in area schools, and married Elizabeth Peteroon in the Manet Temple in 1916. Survivors include her widow, one daughter, Dr Warren G. Fredrickson of Salt Lake City, four grandchildren, and siblings Lester Fredrickson of Salt Lake City and Erika Mugu of South Gate, California.
