Frank Clegg formerly of Gunnison Sugar company and his family spent two days visiting in town after seven years in England. They stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Farr and Mr. and Mrs. Tolek before leaving for the coast to make their home. In England Clegg supervised a Lincolnshire sugar mill under J. S. Ellis, reporting the mill processed 250,000 tons of beets in the 1984 harvest and noting large scale sugar manufacturing with many plants nearby. The party enjoyed their trip but are glad to be back in America.

Infant Larsen Dies After Bronchial Pneumonia
Myrna Larsen, 11 days old, daughter of Kimbal and Mildred Larsen, died Sunday afternoon at home after bronchial pneumonia and complications. A private funeral was held Monday at 2 o'clock at the home and graveside rites were led by Bishop Hyrum Christiansen and Lorin Hill. Surviving are the parents, four grandparents, a great-grandfather, and a great-grandmother.

E Embley storekeeper at the Gunnison Sugar factory left for Spring Canyon after his daughter Bathea Embley was ordered to undergo an operation for chronic appendicitis. Miss Embley is head nurse at the mine hospital there. Three weeks earlier another daughter Lucie Embley, a Salt Lake stenographer, had an appendicitis operation and is recovering at home.

Cynthia Matilda Larsen 58 a native of Gunnison died at Salina hospital Monday at 2 30 after complications from an appendix operation. She never married and is survived by her mother Mrs Louisa Larsen a sister Mrs Emily Knrighton and a brother Alma J Larsen. Funeral services Thursday at one from the Scout lodge with Bishop John M Anderson presiding.
