Five schools pursued double A ratings. Carmison placed second in the mile relay and Robert Munk took fifth in the 120yard high hurdles, with seven records set by 2014 athletes.
Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Redmond ward chapel under Bishop CC Reashandt for F P Anderson who died Saturday from a heart attack. He was father to Mrs Bari Willard and grandfather to Mrs Phil Nielaen and died suddenly leaving many acquaintances.
F A members from the local organization travel to Logan for a state convention. Leader Elwidal Savers and Eugene Overfelt announce lodging and entry plans for the North Salt Lake event in June. Competitors include Kuyepe Shhwerfelt with a humorous reading and eighteen boys entering beef cattle hogs and lambs.
School children staged a health day event featuring a parade with pages depicting medicine safety nutrition and exercise. After the parade they attended a film at Star theater and a Maypole finale at the Washington grounds reflecting a community focus on child health. Mrs. Elbert Modeen mourns father Andrew A. Hansen who died aged ninety. Services held Thursday.
