In a Manti hearing the two youths, Raymond Ottoson and Wallace Cahoon, face a charge of contributing to the delinquency of minors after a car crash near Flat Canyon left Lucile Christensen with a broken back and Effie Olsen injured. Olsen may have been driving. six bottles of wine and beer were found at the scene.

Clarion Scouts Entertain With Dance and Music Stunt
The Clarion ward Boy Scouts hosted a dancing party last week with laughter in a music eating contest where two scouts fed each other blindfolded. An orange dance added humor as members passed the fruit until the final holder won. Gunnison high school orchestra provided music and punch and cookies were served.

Gunnison Club Elects Year Officers At Luncheon
The Business and Professional Womens club of Gunnison elected officers for the coming year at a Thursday luncheon in the Gunnison hotel. Charlotte Villard was named president with Lauretta Kidman as vice president Elva Foote secretary and Lyda B Duggins treasurer. They will take office July 1 and retiring officers were Duggins Vera Norman and Miss Mark Gledhill. Plans were discussed for state convention in Salt Lake City and local representation was named.

Representatives from Telluride Power company Gunnison division led by L. H. Johnson and Mrs Johnson received prizes at the district convention in Richfield.
