Volunteer cancer workers are invited to a Gunnison event at Abe Lian Hall on Friday March 28 1938 featuring a film then a Doctor's Panel on cancer issues. A special meeting for all dairymen in Sanpete will be held March 28 at the Court House in Mt. Pleasant. Speakers include Dr Lloyd Hunsaker of the Utah State University Extension Service and Professor Lyman Rich. Hunsaker will discuss milking procedures and equipment. Rich will cover dairy record keeping and DHIA programs. certificates may be awarded to top herds. Judy Buchanan, BYU student, spent spring vacation with her parents.

Scouts Escape Serious Injury After One-Car Crash
In Gunnison on US Highway 89 Trooper Bert Willen investigated a one car crash near 415 March 22. Driver Jackson D.L. Large of Panguitch fled, the vehicle rolled once and a half. His son Darwin LeTieve, age 11, suffered a broken neck and arm. both were treated at Gunnison Valley Hospital.
