A Japanese farmer, age 61, was buried Thursday from the Overfelt farm residence in the Gunnison Valley. Bishop E L Swalberg led the service with Bishop Hansen, a quartet sang, and extensive floral offerings reflected the community’s respect. The deceased, who came to America at 20, lived in Gunnison Valley since 1423 and planned new farming ventures before a six week illness ended his life.
