Funeral services for Heber Henry Jensen were held in Centerfield with a large turnout. Speakers from the high school and community celebrated his character and memory. In Gunnison, students staged an Opera in the Garden of Shah at the auditorium to an unusually large audience praising direction by Prof. Eugene Faux and performances by students and staff.

Injuries Fatal To Lehi Poultryman Orville A Thrasher
Orville A Thrasher 29 of Lehi Utah died at Salina hospital after an automobile accident near Axtell. The Ford driven by Martell Hutchings rolled twice on a sharp turn, Thrasher trapped beneath the car. Hutchings escaped with minor injuries. Thrasher, a prominent chicken farmer, left a wife and two children in Nephi. He was en route to Richfield for a business deal. Local O E club event noted at Metcalf home with social evening.

Baby Georgie Halverson Buried After Pneumonia
Funeral services were held for 21 month old Georgie Helen Halverson in Gunnison on Monday after a weeklong illness from pneumonia. The child, born in Gunnison and living in Salt Lake City, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Halverson. Relatives and friends attended as speakers offered condolences and music accompanied the service.

Lulu Halverson daughter of Mr and Mrs George Halverson died at their Salt Lake home last night after a week long illness from pneumonia following a prior tonsillitis attack Two weeks earlier she was struck by aggravated tonsillitis and pneumonia proved fatal Her body will be brought to Gunnison for burial at the family plot in the city cemetery with relatives traveling from nearby towns to attend.
