G V FFA Chapter Hosts Awards Night in March
The Gun taco Valley Future Farmers of America held its annual awards banquet on March 1. A large group enjoyed a meal of tam glaser followed by awards. Nail Sorenson of Mayfest received the Honorary Chapter Farmer award with a gold pin and certificate. Chapter Sweetheart Vicky Hees wore a white corduroy jacket. dace Winn and JoAnn Olgen received Sweetheart bracelets. Team members Collin Edwards Kent Sorensen and Charles Wilson earned recognition. four boys won prizes for collecting meat pelts, with Gary Myrup Ray Christensen Tandy Robert and Dale Madsen noted. Handy Childs won a $25 savings bond for most poetry, and foundation awards went to Star Greenland Kant Gorensetl Hal Pickett Russell Madsen David Dalley Lee Sorensen and Runty Childe. Lee Sorensen was honored for retiring leadership and a hunting knife.
