Death Summons Estimable Woman Mrs Annie Anderson
Mrs Annie Maria Anderson wife of Oscar Anderson and longtime Gunnison resident died at her home last Saturday after a brief illness from flu leading to peritonitis. Born November 14 1877 in Oregrund Sweden she moved to Gunnison with her family in 1880 and married Oscar G Anderson in 1911. Survived by husband two sisters Mrs Theresa McPhee Salt Lake City and Miss Sarah Peterson Los Angeles other relatives gathered for burial services. Funeral will be held Thursday at Relief Society hall at 130 pm Bishop Leslie Kidman officiating.

Members plan the eighty fifth anniversary celebration for the Relief Society founded in Gunnison. The event on March 17 starts at 2 PM with a history program by Mrs. E L Swalberg, readings, music, a basket luncheon, and warm drinks. That evening a joint dance with Hamilton ward features the Pootwarmers orchestra at the high school auditorium.

Injured Woman Improves After Train Crash
Mrs. Orville Christensen, mangled when struck by a freight train two weeks ago, is improving at a Sault Lake hospital. She lost a leg below the knee and several toes. after the leg amputation she rallied and now shows promising recovery, according to Mer rill Mellor who visited Sunday.

Ephraim defeated Richfield in a close game to claim a spot in the round robin tourney at the local auditorium. N L Hermansen proprietor of Hermansen Roller Mills and Elevator was advised by H E Crockett secretary of state that the White Rowe Flour brand has been registered in his favor.
