Death Summons Early Pioneer in Gunnison
Fredrieke Fjeldsted, a 65 year old Gunnison resident born in Denmark in 1857, died early Monday at her home after a long illness from pneumonia and declining health. Survived by husband PF Fjeldsted, five daughters Lin dt Myrnup Kate Johnson Evelyn Hhina Prelilsted Lois Deck, four sons Pred J Tooele Leonard Los Angeles LaBarth Byron, fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the family home yesterday at 1 pm under Bishop Swalberg with a crowded turnout.

Services Held For Centerfield Baby
Funeral services for Marvin Al theron Barlow a 20 month old of Centerfield were conducted at the Centerfield meeting house on Friday February 24 with Chris A Peterson in charge. Speakers included Mrs Zelma Beck Chas Hanse Bishop Anderson Leo Beck and J A Peterson with opening and closing prayers by Andrew Jensen and James Beck. Mowers carried from home to meeting house by the child’s playmates as mourners observed the service. Marvin died February 22 after a two week illness from pneumonia, leaving the Barlow family and many valley friends in deep sorrow.
