Axtell Woman Honored With Dishes Gift Surprise
About fifty friends of Mrs. La Thorpe Jr. of Axtell staged a warm surprise at her home Friday evening. They gave her a 42 piece dish set to express appreciation for her kind acts during illness. The gathering included games music and Progressive Five Hundred with refreshments served later.

License time extended for autos and motorcycles
Licenses for automobiles and motorcycles may be obtained from Secretary of State Crockett during the present month. Drivers with 1922 numbers may operate temporarily under House Bill 282 introduced by McKell of Salt Lake and signed by the governor. Argist Improving After Nevada Work Injury

Relief Society Plans Celebration in Gunnison
The Relief Society foundation anniversary will be celebrated in Gunnison on Friday February 16 with an afternoon session at 2 o clock followed by refreshments. An evening dance and program will be held at the high school auditorium featuring sketches songs readings and duets by local members and guests. Notable items include talks on the first organization of the Relief Society and a sketch of Gunnison’s early presidents with musical selections and a cello solo.
