Forgery Suspect Nabbed at Bicknell
Charles Wilson an 18 year old Salina boy was arrested by Sheriff Sunderson at Bicknell Tuesday afternoon and held for investigation. He is suspected of passing forged checks at J C Penney and the Shamrock Inn for 20 and 4 dollars. The arrest followed a tip from Onest Nilson as officers traced the trail north to Bicknell. Wilson admitted using the alias Oliver B Duncan on the Shamrock Inn check and the Penney check was signed the same. Investigators said more checks have been passed in Menn and nearby towns and a full probe will follow into Wilsons history and age.
